came on 1.4.1986 after living in the Sri Aurobindo Ashram for 3 years.

have been working together with Pierre Elouard during the first two years of my
stay in Auroville, and afterwards with nearly all the architects around.

GIVE SOME OVERVIEW OF THE EVOLUTION OF YOUR WORK, MILESTONES ON THE WAY
The
milestone in my learning process was the insight that all
philosophies
and ideologies, sometimes used by architects in Auroville to justify their way
of building, are basically there for the sole purpose of hiding one’s own
shortcomings. I believe that all
philosophies
and ideologies have come to an end, and that they anyway cannot compete with
common sense. Common sense views reality in a more global way. After all, where
are the ideologies and philosophies in a silent mind?
