My name is Purushuthaman

I am from Allankuppam village near Auroville.
My family is in agriculture, but since my childhood I wanted to do something different.
I consider myself lucky to have met a person from Auroville who taught me about ceramics and terracotta pottery.
This has become my profession and livelihood, and I now have a Sri Sivam Pottery in Allankuppam..

Thanks to Auroville and its people, our products have been exposed to the international market and we have been very successful. My dream is to help the other people with employment and remain in touch with Auroville which offers such wonderful chance to change our lives, not only in terms of outer things but inner growth.
