Creative writing

The following pages attempt to include what is called creative writing as it's taking place in Auroville: poetry, essays, prose and art books by authors who are, or have been, Aurovilians. They contain a list in the making since not only are we still searching for books that may be missing, the list will also, hopefully, grow with titles of new books to be written in Auroville. 

This means that compilations of writings by Mother/Sri Aurobindo and writings on Auroville are not included, though we will mention the best of those in each category. The same holds for educational material, as, for instance, comments on Savitri.

Within the categories mentioned, the books have been arranged by date of appearance and the titles of books that still need reviewing are mentioned (when known).

Many of the books are out of print (oop), though copies may still be available (ca). The Auroville Library keeps an archive of the creative writings and copies may also be found in the Auroville Archives. The lists do mention oop-books. For books still in print we give here below the addresses of the publishers.
