The A.Y.A. Project was born out of the will of 13 young artists.
They decided to gather the means,
energies and skills needed to achieve their sole aim:
Creation...!

We are a group of young Aurovilians, all really connected to Arts: music (fusion, hip-hop, jungle, techno, cyber, forest, techno...) painting, sculpture, video, stage setting, photography, glasswork.. In fact, anything that has to do with Creativity...

The idea for a multimedia performance evolved almost naturally out of the varied talents represented in our group. Slowly an idea for a story started emerging and somewhere around the beginning of September '00, when everybody was back from vacation, the decision to put our story on stage was taken..

A.Y.A. is not a school, but learning does take place through different kind of workshops...

Up till now..

The members of A.Y.A. are working together since the beginning of 1999. Whenever necessary, the advice and assistance of various artists, teachers, and experts in the field have been obtained. This mode of working has proved to be very effective and will be followed in the future.

The following concerts/performances have been presented so far, with notable success:

21st May 1999 Concert by Øsmose in Kalabhumi Auroville.

21st June Concertby Øsmose in Alliance francaise Pondicherry.

3rd Jan 2000 Theatre / Performance "The Liquidizer Art Club" with thye whole A.I.A group in Kalabhumi, Auroville.

15th Jan 2000 Concert by Øsmose with "Les Paysans" as supporting group at the Youth Centre in AV.

After this we had some smaller open-house events......
