Pino Marchese

- a non-photographer -

Pino is, in his own words, architect by education and photographer by passion. 

Since 1973 he has 'indulged' in photography, intentionally as a non-professional, or as a perpetual amateur as you may call it, with a constant and vibrant research that includes people, architecture and landscape. 

         To put it in another way, on the lines of Brian Eno, the great pioneer of contemporary music, Pino prefers to call himself a 'non-photographer'. 

He believes that only in this 'limbo', an artist can be in continuous evolution. 

Pino hails from Italy and came in 1997 to Auroville.
