Art for Land

With a first batch of paintings offered by Aurovilian artists being practically sold, and its proceeds added to Auroville's Land Fund, more artists have come forward and the momentum keeps going. 

The 'Art for Land' campaign was initiated in 2000 by the Auroville residents, aware of the pressing need to secure the still missing pieces of land for the City and Green Belt.  Presently, artists residing in Auroville, or otherwise connected with Auroville, continue contributing some of their work to the Land Fund. The proceeds from the sales will go towards purchasing land for Auroville.

New paintings

We here give you a small sample of newly offered paintings  in the 'Art for Land' campaign,  and also from these the proceeds from the sales will go towards purchasing land for Auroville.

If you would like to purchase one of them, please fill in the answering slip below, indicating clearly which work you are interested in and to which address it is to be sent.

Cheques, made out in favour of the Auroville Land Fund, may be sent to Auroville Land Fund, CSR Office, Auroshilpam, Auroville 605 101, T.N., INDIA.

On receipt of your payment we will send you the original painting through courier service or personal delivery.

Great care will be taken that the piece of art reaches you safely.
