THE SUN, THE GIVER OF LIFE
The
children of Class 5 imagined what it would be like if they woke up one morning
and the sun just stopped shining. Some children were worried about where the Sun
Gods would go, others were more concerned about what they would eat, or how would
they do their homework in the dark or read their favourite book. Eventually we
realised that without the warmth, heat and light of the Sun, life on our planet
earth would simply cease to exist.
Not only did we discover that the Sun was the giver of life for planet earth, but for the whole solar system.
SHADOW
PUPPETS
Children from Class 6 made some Shadow
Puppets using some cardboard and sticks. They had a great time improvising short
plays on the classroom wall.
