Pitchandikulam

Pitchandikulam Nursery specialises in indigenous edible and medicinal flora, plus the revitalisation and preservation of indigenous knowledge systems.

Water Harvest

Water Harvest runs training courses for local farmers to promote sustainable farming and resource management.

AuroAnnam

AuroAnnam instructs villagers in composting of household wastes and the use of bio-pesticides.

Palmyra

Located at Aurobrindavan, Palmyra is also involved with conservation of resources and bio-pest control for the rural population, in collaboration with Bernard and Deepika who maintain headquarters for ARISE (Agricultural Renewal in India for a Sustainable Environment), a nation-wide organic growers’ network established through a conference held in Auroville in April 1995.
