Lotus

From the year 2000 through to August 2002, Paolo, whom Roger invited to help with the creation of the gardens, concentrated on a complete study of the entire Matrimandir / Peace area. While drawing his inspiration from the Mother's words, he referred to his knowledge and experience of Japan.
  
He also held as an example this picture of a sanctuary at the center of an Asian city:
  
  

He thus endeavored to express a whole which could harmoniously integrate all existing features and parameters, to translate as best as possible the spirit of the Mother's recorded descriptions.
